Last Christmas, I didn't really do much at work. This past year, I got to hang out and get to know my coworkers in my department a little bit more. So this Christmas I thought I'd do something special for them and give them personalized cards to go with their gifts.

So I tend to be at work a little bit early. My commute is pretty long and since I never know when there's going to be heavy traffic, I just leave the house early. On days when I don't have a project to work on yet, I tend to do my own thing when I arrive there. On some days I'll try to do as many quick speed paint/sketches before our project meetings. This was one of them.

The same day I did this, I had a couple minutes to kill at the end of the day so I decided to do a more simplified version of this sketch. I finally had time today to vector it in flash.

Stephen Curry

He's quickly become my favorite Golden State Warrior. Not only is he good but he's fun to watch. What a like about him most is that he comes out on the court with a lot of confidence yet he shows no cockiness.

This season was pretty much a loss due to almost all their starters being injured. Even with that situation, he's able to make something out of nothing with the bench players. I just can't wait til next season. If everyone is healthy, Curry will tear up the court along side Ellis. So excited!

Anyway, this was inspired by those All Star Vinyl Toys. I like their action poses and that Sean Galloway simplicity style. I believe he even designed some himself.

Originally I was going for the local+dark value type style but then I found myself rendering just to see how it would look. Eventually I rendered the whole thing haha. Here's the stages for those interested.

Hummingbird

A couple weeks ago I thought to myself that I should do a bird drawing and I always found Hummingbirds interesting. Every time I see one outside, I can't help but just watch them fly around. Even though they're nowhere to be seen during this rainy stretch I decided to do a painting of one.

It's a little too much on the cute side, I know... now if you excuse me, I think I'm gonna shoot some bad guys in Metal Gear or do a thousand pushups. You know, manly stuff haha.

Trouble Maker

How can you to get mad at a puppy? It's tough. My dog Kobe is a year and a half old. He tears up any plush toy we give him. I chose to portray my dog back when he was only a couple months old. Back then he was TRULY a monster. No plush was safe! Nowadays, he'll just let it live a couple days before its off with their heads.

Art Collabo

This was a collaboration with my friend Rob. He did the drawing and I painted it. He started to get into digital painting and asked if I could look at his piece. I gave him some pointers and fixed some areas.

I had so much fun fixing his painting that I just wanted to do my own. I decided to scrap his work and start over from scratch. I changed the colors and added a couple elements, making him completely different from what he originally looked like. This is probably far from what my friend imaged but it was fun adding my twist to his character design.

My brother and his friend just came back from their trip to Oahu. Among some of the sites they went to was the Honolulu Zoo. I browsed through their pictures and saw a chimp that reminded me of a drawing a friend of mine did a while back. My friend was able to create a moody piece yet still have energy in his sketch. I tried to give it a shot with this pose.

I'm currently taking a Flash class as I search for work. Our first project was to create a Halloween E-card to send to friends and family. I think I bit off more than I can chew, especially since it was my first Flash animation. I could have went more simple but after I came up with the story and got good reactions with my storyboard, I knew I just had to get it done. It still needs some more work, but with the amount of time we had to work on it, I'm happy with it.

Jasmine Coloring Book

I saw someone do this a couple months ago on Deviant Art. I thought it was a pretty cool concept so I decided to try it out. What they did was take a page from those Disney coloring books, picked a princess and colored it digitally. Jasmine is one of my favorites so i thought I'd give it a go.

Just to make it clear. I didn't do the line drawing. It was from a coloring page I found online I don't know who to give credit to, so I'll just say a Disney Artist. The Painting is mine though.

Work in Progress

I decided to do some concept art on a book I read over the summer. I had some work done for it but since my Flash class started, this personal project of mine has been put on the shelf. Anyway here are some sketches for it.

One of the main characters lives in a 1930's bungalow up in the hills of Orange County. I plan on doing an environment shot of the house and its surroundings later on. That way you get a feeling of who the character is living inside.

As for characters, there are three main ones. One of them is a hitman. I didn't really have time to think this guy out yet, but I did do some body silhouettes and faces. Below are just a few faces I played with. Since I have been working in Flash the majority of this month, I really wanted to just paint something in Photoshop. I'm not set on any of these faces so I still have to do more.

Something Out of A Movie

Last week I went to Vegas for my Brother's bday bash. As I was waiting at the gate to board the plane, I had a moment that was movie like. I forgot my sketchbook from my check-in bag so for the time being I was working on my Sudoku book and listening to some tunes. I was in my own little world focused on my puzzles for around 15 minutes when something made me want look up and see whats going on around me. As I look up there's a girl walking in my direction who catches my attention. She shoots me a smile and at that same moment Ziggy Marley's Drive ( a song from 50 first dates) just began to play. During those few seconds, everything seemed to be going in slow motion... or maybe I was just super tired and it was way too early in the morning.

Here's a a sneak peak at my Halloween E-Card for my flash class. This is my first Flash animation so I'm really excited about it.

A small clip within the E-card. The animation is a lot smoother than this though. A lot of frames like my blur drawings are for some reason missing. I don't know how to keep the video from being choppy as it gets uploaded and compressed.

I like trying different mediums just because each one has there own different look. I've tried most of the wet mediums except for gouache. I've been inspired by many artists who have used gouache in there landscape studies that I wanted to try it out myself. I plan on taking my gouache kit out to do some landscape paintings but first I thought I'd try it out just so I know what to expect. Free Caricatures at Cannery Row 4.0

Me and my friends, Virgil and Rob returned to Cannery Row on Friday to do more caricatures. It was going to be our last time doing it there as we plan to do future caricaturing at a new place. It started off REALLY slow due to it being on the same day as a car show and the county fair. A few hours later things picked up pretty fast.

All the sessions we've had in Monterey have been a blast. The bar has been set for the next city. I can only hope that the people are as cool and nice as the people in Monterey.

FREE Caricatures at Cannery Row 3.0

Third times the charm! I found myself working a little bit faster than the previous two sessions and I liked the results more this time around. Let me just say, it really does help when your model stays in one place. I really should have done that the last two times we've done this. Anyway, I was a little nervous coming in this time just because we didn't have the usual group of friends with us to help lessen the load for each artist and to get the sketches out faster. It was just my friend Virgil and me taking on the masses.

After I got the first couple drawings out of my system I started to get settled in. We were pretty much busy right from the start and never really had a break until we left. That was actually a good thing because it put us in a groove instead of taking breaks and then trying to get back into things.

A Swift Study

I've been doing a lot of whimsical cartoony drawings as of late, so I thought I'd try to get back into realistic for a change. I'm not really great at capturing likeness too well so I thought I'd do a portrait study. I figure if I do realistic drawings in between the whimsical it would help with capturing someones likeness when I try to turn them into a caricature.

I bought a new set of watercolors the other day so I thought I'd practice using watercolor instead of going to the ol' Photoshop for this study. I've been hearing Taylor Swift's new song a lot on the radio lately so I decided to draw her because of that. So here's my attempt at Taylor Swift.

Second time doing free caricatures with friends at Cannery Row and it was another success! 30 minutes after we set up, we got two volunteers. Unlike last time where there were times where we had no one to draw, people just kept coming after the first two. It's still a challenge for me to draw people who move their heads around a lot though. Even though its hard to get their likeness when they move, it would be nice to overcome that challenge and still get it done. Whelp, I sure got a lot more practicing to do if I want to get better at caricaturing.

Artichoke Coach

My friend Sunshine asked if I could help design a logo for her family business. I've never designed a logo before so i thought it would be fun to try out. Their main specialty is Fried Artichokes so I did quick sketches. Some pretty simple and some just plain silly. One of the main things they wanted is to have something that shows Filipino heritage in it since they are Filipino. They suggested having three stars somewhere in the piece. Instead of having the stars surround the sun like in the flag I thought it would be cool to have it surround the artichoke. I also thought it would be nice to incorporate the colors of the flag into the logo so I used the colors for their shirts. I am happy to say that they loved it!

King Of Pop

This is something I worked on after I heard about his death but just didnt have the time to post it. I was always a fan of his music so it took me by surprise. I was moved by the musicians that I watch on Youtube, who did tributes to Michael through song. I can't sing anywhere near them, so I thought I'd do a tribute to the King of Pop through art. It still doesnt seem real that he's gone but maybe its because his songs will never die. As long as his songs keep playing, he'll always be remembered and live on. So this is my Thanks to Michael Jackson. Thanks for sharing your gift of music with us all and trying your best to make the world "a better place" despite all the things you had to endur. You will be missed!

Thank You Cards

Now that I have finished writing out all my Thank You Cards and sent them all out, I can finally share my image. I really liked how this one came out. I had a general idea of what it would look like but I was amazed how cool it looked when I had my handwriting on there. It was a nice surprise. After I was done with the card and showed it to my Mom, she insisted that I throw Kobe in the card since he was in the Invitations. At the party, Kobe was pretty much defending himself from my cousin's dog, Gizmo the whole time. I thought it would be pretty funny to have him passed out from exhaustion. The card to me still looked plain so I added a border. For the icons, of course there is the traditional Cap and Diploma to signify Graduation. The bottom icons I used to represent my college career. You have the Shrunkenheadman Logo on the left which is our Animation/Illustration club and on the right is a Spartan Helmet, representing San Jose State.

Last week, I went with my brother and cousins to see Third Eye Blind in concert for free. It was AMAZING! We were like 20-30 feet from the stage. The only problem with that and it being a free concert is that people from the back start muscling their way to the front, not caring about people who were there first. One of them was this guy. For some reason he was the one I remembered out of all the people in crowd. Maybe it was his funny dancing moves? Anyway, he reminded me a little bit of Danny McBride from the movie, Land Of the Lost and Pineapple Express. There was also a little bit of Cooter from Dukes Of Hazzard in him as well. With that said here's Danny McCooter!

As I was sitting in my room flipping through Joe Weatherly's new sketchbook, my dog Kobe comes walking in and jumps onto my bed. I hear some rustling and then a soft thump. I turn back to see what Kobe is doing and he is totally past out. I was inspired flipping through Joe Weatherly's animal sketches that I thought I'd give sketching Kobe a go.

After watching Game 1 of the NBA Finals I decided to do a quick sketch of Pau Gasol. Why?!?! I dunno, I just didn't feel like drawing Kobe yet. His time will come. If Pau plays strong like he did in game 5 and 6 of the Denver series and Kobe is on his game, the Lakers will soon be holding up title number 15!

Cards

My parents are throwing a party celebrating my recent graduation. Since I already did stuff with some friends, this is mainly for family members. My mom was going to send out store bought cards but since I just got a degree in illustration, I thought it would be more special to send out a card I designed myself. We're going to have roasted pig at the party so I thought that should be a part of the drawing. When I joked about putting my soon to be 1 year old pup in the drawing, my mom liked the idea.

I'm pretty happy with how it came out especially how fast I had to have it done by to get it sent out. Although I was really bummed out when the prints came out darker than what I had. All the small extra things I did like having pastel textures and pushing things back just got lost. I didn't have time nor the money to send it off and get it printed again. So with that said, this is how it supposed to look like minus all the text.

Pimp My Coach

I've meaning to post the stages of our final project in BFA as I finished them but I've been busy working on revisions for my portfolio as well as working on this truck design to do so. Since I couldn't get that done here's all of the stages of the project in one post.
The assignment for our final was to pimp out one of the delivery coaches that was given to us. I chose to pimp out this divco truck for my delivery service.

We first had to come up with 3 international foods. Here are some of the ideations i came up with for Halo Halo, Kufta and Sushi...

Highlight of SuperCon

Supercon was all right this year. I was hoping they'd have some booths selling animation cells like they did a couple years back. But nope, no dice. I did meet some pretty cool artists while walking around though. It was cool seeing other peoples styles and what they are working on.

The highlight of Supercon for me though was finally meeting Sean "Cheeks" Galloway . I've been a fan of his since I first stumbled upon his work about four years ago. I've seen him at some Cons but never got to talk to him due to huge crowds or time constraints. I bought his latest book and best of all I got him to do a quick sketch of me in HIS style!

John Steinbeck's Cannery Row

For this project we had to read John Steinbeck's Cannery Row. We had to develop and design the interior shot of Doc's Lab as well as Lee Chong's Grocery store. I had a lot of fun working on this project. TONS of work but I found it pretty interesting. Before getting into the project my friend and I went down to Cannery Row to gather up reference photos. I thought it was really interesting that the places that Steinbeck mentioned in the book was actually real. Not only that, all characters were based off of real people too. Doc was based off of Ed Ricketts and Lee Chong off of Won Yee.

The best part of the research was visiting the sites that still exist today. I got to visit Doc's Lab also known as Ed Ricketts Lab in real life. I also got a tour of both floors of Lee Chongs, which not that many people get to do. It was such an amazing experience to be in these places that had so much history behind it. I go to Monterey almost every year and I never knew about these places. It makes me wonder whats in my home town that everyone just seems to overlook.

These are the interiors that I've designed for the book. I tried to balance what I saw in each place with what I thought of when I read the book. I also designed Lee Chongs Truck just for fun.

FREE Caricatures at Cannery Row

I've been wanting to do free caricatures with my friends since last Spring Break but the day we wanted to go it showered in SF. We decided to postpone it til Summer time but then everyone was busy. Fast forward to last week, when my friend Virgil and I we're at Cannery Row taking reference photos for our current BFA project. We decided Cannery Row was the perfect spot. After a week of practicing caricatures we finally got to use our skills yesterday. It was such a BLAST! We got to meet some really cool people and their stories. One couple just got married!

Being that it was my first time doing caricatures live, I never knew how hard it was. Not only is it hard getting their likeness with exaggerations, but even harder when they're constantly moving around. I have to say kids and babies were the hardest to draw.

Here are some of the drawings I did. Thanks for everyone who let us draw them.

The place where we were located, we had no idea was private property. Turns out that spot was run by this man right here, John Lawrence. We thought we were in HUGE trouble but man he was really cool. he let us stay for the rest of the day but we couldnt be there in the future because it wouldnt be fair to the people paying rent at that same location. So to help us out, John introduced us to a bunch of restaurant owners where we could set up in the future. THANK YOU JOHN!
After 7 hours of caricaturing we finally called it quits. We decided to take a pic with our new friend, John. We'll DEFINITELY be coming back in the future! GOOD TIMES!

I wasn't happy with a couple of drawings I did, so I decided to redo some in my sketchbook. Since I had pictures of everyone I drew, I thought why not just do them all again for fun. I tried to do these as fast as I could pretending it was live. After that I just took it to photoshop for some quick color.

Animal Farm

We just wrapped up our project of Animal Farm. The project was to design characters based on the book Animal Farm by George Orwell. I have to say it was quite an interesting book. For those who are not familiar with the book, its based on the Russian Revolution. Instead of making it obvious, the author takes the concept of the Russian Revolution and places it in a Farm in England.

So here are my characters; Napoleon (Joseph Stalin), Ivan (the KGB) and Boxer (russian workers).

My environments are based on two story moments in the book. The first one is when the animals are trying to build a windmill. The second is a shot of the farm when some animals are put on trial.

The artist I was trying to emulate in this project was Steve Brodner.

A "Cheerful" Fellow

I'm currently working on a project where I have to design characters for the book Animal Farm. The artist I chose to emulate for the project is Steve Brodner, who is an amazing illustrator and caricaturist. In order to get used to his style of drawing I decided to draw some humans before jumping into caricaturing animals. I remembered telling a friend a couple months back that I would draw him, so I decided now would be a perfect time to try this style out on him. I still need work in this style and not be afraid to exaggerate features a lot more like Brodner does, but with more practice I think I can get there.

The Magic Chalk

For our BFA Final we had to develop concept art for the story 'The Magic Chalk" by Kobo Abe. The story is about an artist, Argon living in San Francisco, struggling to make his way through life. He lives in a run down apartment, leaving him with little or no money at all to get food. He soon finds a magic chalk that magically turns anything he draws to life. For my concept I decided to set the story in 1965. The artist i tried to emulate was Neil Campbell Ross. I still have a lot to fix, but good thing we're on winter break.

Da Vinci Project

Here are some of my latest drawings from the current project I'm working on. Its based on Boccaccio's DeCameron. To give you the cliff notes version of the story, its based on a plagued city, with several characters characters forming a group to leave the city behind and flee to the countryside where they believe it is more safe .

These drawings are part of my second pass of the project. They all still need A LOT of work especially the ones that I'm not showing. Just thought I'd show them so you hopefully see the difference later on.

Filostrato is one of the characters I'm designing. He's an inventor who idolizes Da Vinci. He's a shy, quiet type character who's always focused on inventing new things. The Plagued City of Paris in the 1900s.

I'd like to introduce you all to Kobe, the newest member of our family. We just got him a couple weeks ago. For being 2 months old, he's pretty small but man does he have a lot of energy. He takes up a lot of my time since I have to make sure he doesn't soil or chew up the house. I worked on this piece mostly when he would be sleeping.

First off I just want to say that The Dark Knight in my opinion is the best Batman movie to date. I've seen it a couple times already and loved it! I don't know you about guys but I save my ticket stubs when its something memorable (ex: Concerts, Sporting Events, Movies) . More often than none, I usually just end up misplacing or losing most of them. Since its hard to lose a sketchbook, I decided to place my stub in there and paint something related to the movie.

Iron Man 2.0

Self Portrait: Homage to Norman Rockwell

For the final in our Figure painting class, the assignment was to choose a master painter and try to emulate his/her style either by color pallet, brush strokes, technique etc. I chose Norman Rockwell mainly because of his use of story in all his paintings and the color pallet he uses.
Out of all his paintings, I went with "The Letterman". Back in the day, I wanted to play high school football with some of my friends but my Mom just wouldn't let me do it. I figure since I couldn't play football in real life why not make it happen through the world of art.

Just a side note, I added the background because my teacher stressed throughout the semester about having a background so I didn't want to risk leaving it white especially on the final even though Rockwell kept his white/off-white.

This was done for a class project. Our class is creating a "zine" about "That ONE Guy". We thought it would be a funny topic to illustrate because we all know "that ONE Guy". We all have said that phrase more than once in our lives. .. "Remember that one guy who always that head band" or "You know that one guy who always wears a green jacket, yeah, that guy!". We've all said it. Well I decided to do my illustration as more of a tribute page to my favorite quarterback. Dan Marino is known as that one great NFL quarterback who never got a ring.

Crew of You

This was done for my Conceptual Illustration class. The assignment was to create 6 characters based on yourself using your personality, life experiences, likes and dislikes as a basis for each. Once the characters were made we had to come up with a story using all 6 characters. The final illustration had to illustrate the climax of the story.

Fun Fact: Charles Schultz did this same thing to create the famous "Peanuts" Crew. Many of the characters were inspired by his own life

Gladiators Ready!

I caught the premiere of American Gladiators and I was surprised by the female gladiators. They're not what I expected to see. My favorite right now is "Crush". Don't let her innocent smile deceive you cuz she can actually kick some butt. I found out she's a MMA fighter specializing in Muay Thai. That's AWESOME! For this drawing I had some tonal laying around that I decided to use. I've seen comic book artists use a technique where they use pure black on tonal paper then add in the whites. I was afraid of using pure black on some places so I ended up using some black pencil to add another tone.

This one I did a week after other drawing. I was watching American Gladiators agian as I was sketching this out in my sketchbook. I splashed some color in afterwards on photoshop.

After 12 or so years of watching the Warriors struggle even with big names like Starks, "Mookie", Jamison and Arenas, it's nice to finally see a group of guys that mesh well together making them playoff contenders for years to come. I always wanted to draw one of them so heres one as kind of a joke. If you're a Warrior fan, the Stephen Jackson cartoon should make sense. The other, my friend had a Warrior Girl calendar so I decided to draw the cover girl for the heck of it.

A couple of friends and I went to see a celebrity charity game last week at the Oracle and guess who we saw... Stephen Jackson, Monta Ellis, Donald "Turk" Faison, Terry Crews and many more!

Chewy

Just messing around with my Wacom Tablet. My main focus was to create an image that had more of a painterly look to it rather than a digital rendering. Why chewy you might ask? It was one of a couple images on my Desktop. I was gonna use it as reference for my Xwing but never had time to model a Really Simplified Chewbacca. Thought I'd use it before I erase it.

Final Projects

Here are my Final Projects for my 2 art classes this past Fall, Beginning Maya and Intermediate Paining.

Beginning Maya

For our final we had to model a vehicle of our choice and animate a turnaround. I chose the X-wing from Star Wars. I think I had a little too much fun working on it. As it was rendering, I was watching A New Hope for sound effects just so I could get it as authentic as possible and because Star Wars is awesome!

Intermediate Painting

Our Final was based on the concept of "Self Reflection". I chose to play with Norman Rockwell's idea of Triple Self portrait. I noticed he had a Spartan Helmet on his easel so I used it since SJSU are Spartans. I thought it would be cool having me paint myself as a Spartan. As I was painting, my teacher told me to change the Spartan into the style of Francis Bacon. At first I didn't like the idea, but then it started to become fun painting in someone else's style. It was funny seeing people's reaction as I was painting it. People thought I was bottling up feelings haha. I thought it was interesting how a style can totally change a mood in a painting.

This is still a work in progress because there's a lot of things I need to fix up.

This is a close up of my back. My teacher got me to use my palette knife as an alternative to a paintbrush. Most of "me" in the foreground was done using a palette knife just to pop myself out more from the middle ground. I used it sparingly throughout the painting so that it looks like one consistent piece.

I made this card for my Goddaughter who just turned 3. Shes a big fan of Dora so I thought it would be cool to turn her into a cartoon with one of her favorite characters. It went well with the gift that I bought her. If you're wondering what "Ninong" means, its "Godfather" in Ilocano and Tagalog.

Iron Man

At the time, my friend told me there was going to be a new Iron Man movie so decided to paint him for fun. I had no idea how the movie version was going to look like so i had to find other images to work with that would look realistic. I actually ended up looking at a toy figure for this digital painting.

Library Sketches

I was at my local Library studying for a quiz this week. After reading a couple chapters I'd bust out my sketchbook and draw people around me. It was going fine until I was drawing the guy wearing the safari type hat. I was pretty sly until I attracted an audience of little kids. They were cool but they really made it obvious that I was looking at that guy by surrounding me and staring back and forth between my drawing and him. After that I couldn't really study cuz they joined my empty table and expected me to draw more.

After PJJ, a couple of friends and I went to go eat at Denny's. I haven't hung out with this group of friends in a really long time so it was cool catching up and goof off with them again. We all went with the usual breakfast plates but one of us decided to go a different route and order the most weirdest combinations, Sausauge Links and a Milk Shake. It was supposed to be a joke but um yeah i dunno. Anyway he's such a character that I decided to sketch him out when I got home. I tried to go with a different style this time around and emulate one of the great character designers, Stephen Silver.

Pajama Jammy Jam

This was a poster I did for my friend who was co-chairing an event on campus. I think I may have went a little overboard though. I used it as an opportunity to get away from Maya for a bit since thats been taking up most of my time along with painting. I'm not really that happy with it cuz a lot of it was rushed due to having a short period of time to do it in but I could live with it. People seemed to like it so I'm happy. Kinda sad though cuz i don't know whats going to happen to it. Its a HUGE 3ftx6ft poster so I dunno if anyone would wanna keep it at the end. Oh well, wherever it's future lies, I had fun working on it... Tiring but fun.

My First 3D ANIMATED short : Storyboards to Film

As the titles says, this is my first. It was done in Maya which I'm still getting used to. So basically the assignment was a simple ball bounce BUT it had to be about 30 seconds. I went with the first thing that popped into my head which was Indiana Jones. Originally I did all the sound effects with my mouth but then I started finding sounds online at the last minute that sounded a bit better. I wanted to at least keep one of my own sound fx so I kept the boulder sounds.

For those who aren't familiar with animation or film making, these are my Storyboards. Storyboards are basically quick sketches of what a film will look like. Storyboards help you see if your shots and timing are working before production even starts. Its a real time saver!

And now my film. Sadly when I uploaded, the Video and Audio went off sync but ENJOY!

A couple of days ago I was doing various silhouette and scribble sketches for a character design on a book I'm reading and on one of my scribbles I saw a monster which I thought was pretty cool. With Halloween just around the corner I decided to take it a bit further. The Eddie Munster drawing I did right after just to change up style and cuz I wanted to try a different way of coloring. It looks funky but if you squint it kinda works.

My First Post!

Whelp today marks the first day of having my very own online blog. After viewing so many great artists's blogs and being inspired by their work i decided to start one up myself. The following drawings were done over the summer for practice using my Wacom Tablet and Photoshop. With Photoshop my stuff tends to look airbrushed so I wanted to work on making it look painterly.

This was done after I rented Rocky Balboa. I wanted to do a collage that showed his life and training. I was inspired by an artist by the name of Daniel Cox who also did a collage of Rocky.

After watching Transformers, I just had to do these a drawing of Megan Fox.
I was so stoked after I went to Projekt Revolution over the summer, mainly because it was my first concert ever, that I found a pic from that same concert (courtesy of LIVE 105) and drew it.
